GONE TOO SOON

PETALING JAYA: Award-winning director Yasmin Ahmad, who passed away last night after a stroke, is finally laid to rest at 12.40pm at the Tanah Perkuburan Islam in SS20.

Among the pallbearers were Media Prima International CEO Datuk Seri Farid Ridzuan.

Some 100 people have turned at the funeral to pay their last respects.

Earlier, the family held solat jenazah at Masjid Abu Bakar As-Siddiq in SS19, after which, the public was allowed to pay their last respects to Yasmin.

The prayers were led by Imam Ustaz Ahmad Salim.

Yassin prayers were also recited for Yasmin at the mosque.

The hearse has left the house for the mosque at 9.30am.

Among those present at the mosque were actress Sharifah Amani, Farid, AirAsia group chief executive officer Datuk Seri Tony Fernandes, singer Jacyln Victor, fellow film director and producer Suhaimi Baba, Talentime actor Hon Kahoe and singer cum songwriter Peter Teo.

Former Penang Chief Minister and Gerakan president Tan Sri Koh Tsu Koon was also present.

Yasmin, 51, famous for movies like Sepet, Gubra and recently, Talentime.

The director died at 11.45pm on Saturday night from massive bleeding in the brain at the Damansara Specialist Hospital.

BUSY BODY...!

Been busy lately with 3 tasks at one go.
So i hope you guys will gimme
some time to update my blog.
Will update it once a week. Is that OK?

On Friday, went to
PRINCESS RADIN MAS's shrine
to film an info-ed prgm at Telok Blangah.
.It was my first visit. A dream comes true.

It was a happy Friday.
That nite, i got back my HTC fone
and Identification Card.
I can't believe it. It's been lost for a week
and i got it back - EVERYTHING!

SYUKUR ALHAMDULLIAH!

Last nite, Saturday, went for NDP rehearsal.
As usual, i had fun all by myself.
Thanks to M'corp Production Manager, Daphne,
for snapping my pix candidly.

Hahahaha...

I AM BACK..!!!

Hello y'all.
Pardon me for having such a long break.
Well am quite tide-up lately.

Besides JUS, i have 2 others to
attend to - NDP 2009 + Info-Ed prgm.
The Info-Ed prgm gonna be on TV
soon next month and we're in
the midst of filming it.

Lets back track...


After NDP meeting on Wed, went back home.
Lost my white HTC Touch hp & my I.C.
I'm dumbstruck big time!

The next day after filming, went for
supper and guess what?
I had an attack ard midnite - after supper.
My hands are cold + pale and we rushed
to TanTockSeng Hospital - A&E.


Doc took my blood & went for chest Xray.
Have to wait for 2 hrs for the results.

A BIG TANKQ to
Suhaila Salam & Hasnul Rahmat
for sending me to the hospital.

We had our moments there.
We wore the mask wrongly; i went giddy
when they push the 'bed' thingy to
certain location; stupid old APEK next to me
kept farting! CILAKA!! etc etc.

The RESULTS are in....
the senior doc wants me to stay over
to monitor my condition and i
strongly say NO NO NO.

Out from the hospital at 3am.


So am back to work the next day.
My filming schedule?
Well, it's from 0815-2115hrs.
Nothing much compared to the schedule
i had in KL - its 0800-0100 past midnite.

NDP NE show was fun.
Downpour at the end of full dress rehearsal.
Aaawww... poor them.

Btw, kudos to our
Deputy Prime minister cum
Minister For Defence - Mr Teo Chee Hean.
He's all wet.
